Toffee, Caramel & Nut. Round and Complex.

Introducing our latest spotlight coffee, Colombia Acevedo.

A round and complex cup with pronounced and velvety sweetness and a soft, delicate acidity. Tasting notes of toffee and caramel with a nutty aroma.

A select bean from the Huila region, grown at 1300 to 1700 masl. Washed and patio dried.

The municipality of Acevedo is better known as the strongest coffee production area of Colombia. It is located in the southern part of the Huila department. It is naturally framed by the eastern mountain chain of the Andes and its branch called Serrania de la Ceja.

This geographical situation locates Acevedo in a broken topography with multitude valleys spread over different altitudes on the banks of the Suazo River. This environment greatly contributes to the wide diversity of Acevedo regional coffees in terms of both body and acidity.

This micro region is characterized by the extensive use of natural shade coming from plantain and citrus trees in order to improve the growing conditions of the coffee crops. Coffee farmers use the same coffee pulp as a natural fertilizer.
